Google Project 10 to 100 – Submit Your Ideas for Funding

September 26th, 2008

Just like Google has changed the Web World in the past few years, the company is determined to be an advocate to change the entire world. Celebrating its 10th Birthday, Google has announced$10 mn funding for nourishing the top 5 ideas.

How the Project 10th to 100th Works ?
Everybody can submit an idea on how they can change the world and make it a better place to live. Your idea can fall in any of the following categories – Community, Technology, Energy, Environment, Health, Education, Shelter etc.

You can submit your proposal to Google here. Then Google will select 100 applications and ask the entire web community to vote and from them the top 20 will be chosen and will be further refined to 5. [Please don’t worry, Google is known to back much more than what it promises, evident in Google Summer of Code, where it promised to fund 500 projects initially and then it couldn’t resist itself when it found terrific open source ideas from students and has funded more than 500 every year in the past 3 years] Submission Deadline is October-20th 2008.
