Windows 8 Preview with New Features – Upgrade Offer for Consumers BUYING New PCs

June 4th, 2012

Sr. Windows Developer / Architect and President of the Microsoft OS Division, Stefan Sinofsky’s team have designed Windows 8 for both new touch hardware and compatibility with the existing generation of mouse and keyboard based systems and software. The team from Building 26 at Microsoft campus pushed out the Windows 8 RC3 Candidate before the RTM and Final Release slated during Fall-2012. New incremental features released in this version of Windows 8 are mainly on the Metro UI.

Windows 8 Strategy ? There is a transition required and we will likely see some mixed reactions: more negative on the legacy Desktop platform and more positive for the touch Metro platform where all the industry growth will come from going forward.

Why does Microsoft Release Windows 8 Pre-View Editions ?
